Worker injured in construction accident at high school

A man was injured in a construction accident at a Maine high school when steel beams fell on top of him.

The accident occurred at Mt. Blue High School when workers were building a support structure and it fell. This caused one other worker to fall from the scissor lift that he was working on.

The structure was in the gymnasium and was being built to be the new roof. Students in the building next door were not in danger from the incident,but the work site has been closed. No other details of the accident are known at this time.
