Ford Recalls Cars

Friday, 18 April 2008 07:36 by Admin

Ford just put out an official recall for Lincoln, Mercury, and Ford cars put out from 1992 to 2004. For says that there is a problem in the motor that is causing horrible car fires in all of the vehicles which leads to building fires where ever the car is being housed.

Some faulty wiring in the Cruise Control switches has caused more than 1500 fires according to the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration. Supposedly there are more than 10 million cars being recalled at one time because of this fire hazard.

Ford says they are urging people to bring the cars back to the dealership as soon as possible to get this problem taken care of. Ford says that so far no deaths have been linked to these fires but they are trying to work to prevent anything from happening from this point on.
