Company Recalls Spaghetti Mixes

Monday, 4 August 2008 05:51 by Admin

A company, Sauer Foods Inc., has issued a voluntary recall for all of their Gold Medal Spaghetti Sauce Mixes. The product was distributed in grocery stores in Mississippi, Alabama, and Kentucky. The company is originally based out of Virginia and ships to different stores within these states. The Sauer Foods has stated there is a milk product that could cause allergic reactions, but there is no word yet as to what the milk product is identified as.

The company distributed the product without stating on the packaging the clear content of the milk product. The spokesman for the company has stated that about 234 cases of the product have already been distributed to the stores. Any packages with the 8119R code date are to be returned to your local grocery store where they will be either replaced or you will receive a refund by the store.  So far, there have been no injuries due to ingestion of the product.
