Ford Motor Co. has announced that they will be recalling 150,000 pickup trucks for airbag defects when it was found that they may deploy without any warning.
The recalled trucks include the 2005-2006 models in the United States and Canada. The company has said that the risk for the airbag deploying is “relatively low.” The recall is smaller than the one that the government suggested in November 2010.
The government told the company to recall 1.3 million trucks, all that were made from 2004-2006. The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration cited 77 injuries from the airbags
